kirapeak gamesThe theme, the game, especially the player controller(Its quite easy to mess the movement up, but you handled it really well!), lore were all really great! But (as tkp mentioned) the dialogue could be better.
Not to mention the visuals, they were really great! I actually really liked the artstyle you went with. Tho i do wonder if you made the wobbly shaders too :var: But nonetheless they were implemented well
The theme implementation was also really unique, when the guy first got high, i thought i was playing a tkp simulator
Btw, i had no idea you made such good music :wah:

W game. Music was actually kinda fire did not expect that and the platforming was fun as well. Also... reversing my controls? >:)
I felt like I was betraying you while I was adding it, cause of how I responded to that suggestion for experimental existence LOL. I just had to add it in order to portray a lost sense of control.
This is my first ever comment review on a game. I love the environment and universe. I love the story and what it is targeting. The platforming was just a plus to this amazing experience. Allowing the player to just push forward and jump and the right time feels so satisfying (not sure if I articulated that correctly). But I want MORE! I need to know the story that is being told. PLAY THIS GAME.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience! It was my first time trying something like this, and since it was for a 2 week game jam, it was hard to find a good balance between story and gameplay. My goal was to focus on the darker themes of addiction, and show how it can grow if nothing is done to treat it. I will maybe try to add more eventually, to better explain the character and the story. Thanks for playing and leaving a comment!
